Herradura Reposado is one of the most storied reposado tequilas in the world — crafted at Casa Herradura in Amatitán, Jalisco, the distillery that pioneered the reposado category in 1974. Made from 100% Blue Agave, slow-roasted in traditional clay ovens and aged for 11 months in American white oak barrels — nearly double the legal minimum — this 700mL bottle is a testament to Herradura’s unwavering commitment to quality over shortcuts.
The iconic horseshoe emblem on the distinctive square bottle is one of tequila’s most recognisable symbols — a mark of luck, craftsmanship, and over 150 years of agave heritage at Casa Herradura. The deep golden spirit within reflects every one of those 11 months in oak, delivering a complexity and richness that sets Herradura Reposado apart from the field.
Tasting Notes:
• Aroma: Rich vanilla, toasted oak, and sweet agave with hints of dried fruit and cinnamon
• Palate: Full-bodied and smooth — caramel, roasted agave, warm spice, and a touch of butterscotch
• Finish: Long, warm, and deeply satisfying with lingering oak and sweet agave
Exceptional neat or on the rocks to honour its 11 months of ageing — and the benchmark for a premium Reposado Margarita or Tequila Old Fashioned. Herradura Reposado: the original reposado, perfected over 150 years, Hecho en México.
