Lark Sherry Aged & Sherry Finished II

The second Sherry Aged & Sherry Finished Release is perhaps the  world’s first “Triple Sherry Cask” inspired by some of the world’s most  famous sherry monsters. 

This Lark single malt is a marriage of first fill ex-sherry casks from our  Cambridge Distillery, finished in a combination of carefully selected  Oloroso and PX Sherry Butts from Seppeltsfield in South Australia. 

One of Lark’s most beloved limited releases, this whisky is bold yet  balanced. Dried figs and glace orange slices on the nose give way to  sticky sherry and sweet spiced oak on the palate. The journey finishes  with a long warm and woody finish reminiscent of dark chocolate and  old saddle leather. Perfection in a glass. 

TASTING NOTES 

NOSE: Wonderfully full, sweet, and aromatic. Dried figs,  glace orange slices, tiramisu, roasted hazelnuts, and  chocolate covered candied ginger. 

PALATE: Sticky sherry and sweet spiced oak. Juicy muscatels  and honeyed almonds immediately followed by a  burst of fresh salinity and bright grapefruit acidity. 

FINISH: Long, warm, and woody. Raisins, candied peel, dark  chocolate, and old saddle leather.
