The name Roku (六) means “six” in Japanese, a tribute to the six unique Japanese botanicals at the heart of this extraordinary gin — sakura flower, sakura leaf, yuzu peel, sencha tea, gyokuro tea, and sansho pepper — each harvested in its peak season and distilled separately to preserve their individual character. These six botanicals are blended with eight traditional gin botanicals and distilled in four different types of still, resulting in a gin of remarkable complexity, harmony, and distinctly Japanese elegance.
